Time really started to go by quickly at Hollanbec Farm and before we knew it it was time to say goodbye to our new friends. Henk and Heather and their entire family were all so welcoming to us and were so much fun for Little Plate that we had a hard time saying goodbye! We will miss them and were so grateful for the opportunity to be there and to learn all of the things that we did.
We gave ourselves a day to just be our little family of three and so we spent the afternoon at the nearby Lake Charleston to enjoy some sand, sun, and beautiful views. Of course we mosied through the country side to get there and met a very nice old Canadian man with a bike fence. . . and he sold us an antique jewelry box. A bit random :).
We then headed to Kingston for the night and enjoyed their Urban downtown, got a parking ticket, ferried over to Wolfe Island to see the windmills and enjoyed the lilacs that are EVERYWHERE here. So many lilac bushes in full bloom!
