While in Canada this spring Mr. Plate and I celebrated our tenth anniversary. TEN YEARS!!!! I can’t believe we are now in the double digits. In some ways it feels as if it was yesterday that we sealed the deal. At other times I’m feeling that we are now in our 30s and not our 20s anymore and the last decade has been looooooong. I still have moments I think, “who are you”. And like most couples, we have times where we are all too comfortable in being so comfortable with each other. We still have time we are hashing out our differences. We are lucky to have so many similar interests and passions and for the most part we feel we are on the same page even if we are speaking different languages. I’m grateful to have such a patient, intelligent, kind person to share this journey with.
It kind of feels like this whole Canadian adventure could be in honor of our anniversary. Every weekend is a getaway. We definitely plan to go to Niagra Falls and other scenic romantic places while we are here. On the day of though we did have a fun time strolling through historic Brockville, playing at the park, and eating at very delicious Thai Restaurant. It was nice to get out and have a leisurely afternoon all together, Little Plate helped us celebrate too!
